Todd, in case this is useful to you, we just recently fitted 100R16 hoses to my buddy's D4 Traxcavator, which uses a similar hydraulic control as yours does. The R16 hoses have a shorter radius capability than the R2 and although one spec shows the OD as slightly smaller, we haven't (yet) had any blow off. The clamp halves s are wound down until they touch. Hoses bought from discounthydraulics.com

Cheers,
Neil

Do you happen to know what the working pressure is on the 7V hydraulic system?

cat still have the filters. i bought one in the last 2yrs.

you could save that oil if you had a centrifuge but the oil isnt that expensive. you can use the original clamp on code61 fittings with modern 100r2 hose. note the current day cat brand code61 fittings have a heavier flange and need a spacer ring to inter change or the clamping flange milled deeper if you use cat brand fittings with the old flange plates. adapters are also available online to change from code 61 to others such as JIC.

the size is dash 12 a dash is a 16th of a inch note all hose is measured internally
