It's a Monarch "Neverslip" 12-20, forerunners of Allis-Chalmers. Was introduced about 1916 and was produced till 1920. Its engine was an Erd four-cylinder 4x6 bore and stroke, it weighed around 6000lbs.

I thought this might spark some interest and whet the appetites.
Side plate on the engine - Monarch Beaver
I knew it was a Neverslip and the forerunner of AC but did not know the rest of the bore/stroke etc.

Those pictures were taken in 2006, on a wharf in Morro Bay, Ca --- I think it most probably was destined for "yard art"
