I have always maintained there should be a bounty on tail seat tractors as part of cal osh regs.
***I would love to round up all of them free of charge to make the world a safer place!***JM

No tail seat experience, thankfully. Not much D2 experience, thankfully.
Had a good friend with a late 5u D2 ,even direct start from the factory. It had a nice Cat tool bar blade as well. He had 160 acres of nasty steep brush. A acre or 2 of walnut trees planted around the house. After he died I went to do the clean up of the grove as they called it for a fire break around the house. As far as I know he never took the blade off in 10 to 15 years he had the tractor. So I hooked the disc up and all was well. Then I put a track up over a ground squirrel mound. Lucky for me I grabbed the air cleaner, did not need to grab the exhaust. Had several more episodes of it pitching real good but was far more prepared. Decided I had not missed a thing by not having much D2 experience.

For those who like to see the entire loading sequence -
Pay attention to the "contorsions" required to get on and off this "critter".
Anyone think they can "bail" off to avoid a limb coming over the hood at you - I would be happy to watch and learn how that was done

Wow!! No doubt the operator had had experience with the tail seat.
On my little D4 standard I thought I was going to launch a couple of times and can't imagine the reaction on the tail seat that amplifies every move of the tractor 2 to 3 times.
Sitting right above whatever one was pulling for an implement is not my idea of fun.
Thanks for showing!!
