Hello all. I spotted this AUTO Patrol for sale on Facebook Marketplace (Reno, Nevada) and was hoping someone could provide some insight as to type (number) and year.
Wiggly "Caterpillar" script is on radiator and flat head gas engine is in the chassis.

Actually duels were common with the single axle because it helped a little with bouncing. The tandem axles also reduces the bounce or hop while bladding, Another reason was rubber during war time was in high demand and low supply so anything that could be adapted was a plus. Farming industries and municipalities were allotted only do much rubber and adapting farm truck wheels was common sight.

Thanks Dan. I am familiar with the dual wheel setup, as my #10 Auto Patrol has them. I was referring to the disc wheels used on the machine in the pictures. Here is my #10.
