I  ended up buying a project for my son who is graduating this year from high school and attending Fresno State in the fall studying mechanical engineering.  I am looking for someone to haul a chassis to Fresno from Crows Landing right next to I5. It is 20 feet long, 88 inches wide and 12k in weight.

email me if you can help out.

Hi, John from Fresno.
THAT is some chassis. Is it for a ride-on lawn mower or a a quad bike?????????????

Sorry, I can't help personally but will ask around as we could have trucks doing odd things hauling to and from the Best Of The West Show here at Santa Margarita Ranch this coming weekend.

Just my 0.02.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

Deas Plant,
I will post a couple pics when I get it home. Pretty cool go cart chassis 😃
It is tracked though...
I told my son he has no idea what he is in for. Heating with torches, breaking things, sandblasting, trying to locate parts, making parts, etc...

John Salazar Towing has wreckers and Landoll type trailers with winch capability; Hammer Trucking could be hired as well. Most lowbed operators are generally booked out 2 weeks in advance. Sounds like something military for your collection! Best wishes, JM

Well, it is finally home.  If anyone knows of any of these hulks for sale, please PM me.  Water got into this transmission and it is rusted up pretty good.  I still would like to find a better frame also.  This one has been stretched a couple of feet.

Enjoy the photos,

John

I have no idea what it is but there is a guy south of Anchorage in Girdwood, AK.
BackyardAlaskan on YouTube. He may have or know of someone
Aldo there are several Forms that may specialize in that type of equipment
Have you tried heavyequipmentforums or Yesterday's Tractor?

Good luck

Wow John, you did not fib about not needing a Landoll or Cozad. That chassis is lighter than what you originally stated. An easy to load item from the looks of it as well.
There are several of those floating around the Sutter Basin area here. Farmers would have A frame hoists on the front end, and other sorts to repair their iron out in the rice fields etc.
Looks like a fun project for you and your son. JM

Juiceman,

I was told the weight by other owners who find them in this shape. They all tell me that looks are deceiving. Lots of steel plate on the front end.

But, i still need at least one more. Transmission is rusted bad. I am trying to keep my son from getting discouraged...

John
