OK easy fix, if it dose not run without choke is a good sign the low speed circuit is plugged. The Zenith carb has a brass tag riveted on the top of the carb. 5F3525rustyfender post=238081 userid=5630I am sure I am not the only one having carbourator issues with a D7 17A phoney carbourator, I have had it apart several times, it’s dirty and crappy inside, tried to clean but. It seems to be worse not better, It is still in use but takes a lot of my time and patience getting engine started only runs with choke completely on and then hardly gets enough fuel to go. Is there any replacement carbourators out there? I believe it is a Zenith no numbers anywhere I can see.

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
