🍪 Chocolate Chip Diesel 😵
🤦 THAT'S what the wife was talking about.. LOL
Thanks 🤣
I had used oven cleaner before and once the large gunk is off it works and is easy to apply. I didn't have any so I did have some newer Zep degreaser (the 80's Zep was the best today's Zep is made from oranges). The cheapest oven cleaner you can find works though the more considerated the better. Leave on 15 - 20 minutes and scrub a little with rag on stick and spray off with hot water. Or let it set over night and spray off with hot water.

Got a logger friend of mine that swears by Oven Brite. He uses it before he paints anything.

you know why it works. most are based on cuastic soda, alkaline salts or triethanolamine.
the exact compounds most water based degreasers are made from the concentration is a bit different but thats what it is.
my preferred water based degreaser is made by applied chemicals and sold under their chemtec brand and called shock treatment it is a liquid sodium hydroxide(caustic) product and is very economical at label rates.
you can also use caustic soda granules to make your own just remember add the product to water not water to product the granules react exothermic with water and give off corrosive fumes.
