A genuine generous man that always thought of others. He sent me some free tee shirts and I had never had the opportunity to meet him.

Hi, Folks.
Yep, Glen was definitely a leading light in a multitude of fields, not the least which were charities and vintage machinery collecting. I got to know him fairly well over nearly 10 years, had the privilege of working with him on 6 different shows and spent some time with him around Petaluma. Glen even flew me over to California for the 2012 show at Tulare when they had their first ever working vintage earth moving display.

R.I.P., Glen, and thank you for some very enjoyable times.

Just my 0.02.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

I meet Glen at the HCEA show Bowling Green OH. He did know me at, but followed his trip out to the show. I commented on his D6 and pan and within minutes Glen offered to let me try it, sure wish I had. We just talked, a real gentleman, sure miss his adventures on this site

Thank you for sharing, Rome K/G. Hardly a day goes by without many of us thinking of Glen. He definitely had a heart of gold and was a very compassionate person. The stories some of us could tell...
Glen, I know you are up there watching over some of us still. Love you like a brother! Juiceman.

You're welcome, I only met him years ago at the BG, OH show, just talked a few minutes but heck of a nice guy, I feel bad when I'm at shows and you see members but can't put "a name to a face", I know there have been allot of people there that I didn't know and wished I could have taken more time to get to know them, spent more time on equipment than anything.

***I can say it was Glen that really got me going on the CAT collecting. When I met him at a local charity truck show, I only owned a couple of CATs, after that it snowballed, we had a LOT of buying and more buying (little selling) going on.
He GAVE me a #40 scraper which originally came from a neighboring farm operation here, and to this day could not thank him enough, as I know he paid dearly for it, outbidding another very well to do and good friend of mine for it. So, in Glen fashion, I try to "pay it forward" just as he would. The banter and pranking we did to each other was enough to keep either of us from sleeping or being "off guard". Ahh. the good times we all shared. RIP buddy!

Living in Petaluma, I met Glenn via this forum when I needed a way to unload a cat I purchased in Washington. Glenn offered to unload onto his rollback then wrist wrestle me for the cat, all in good fun, invited me to his "cat night", every Tuesday night at his Barn in West Petaluma, great guy and a lot of fun, got to drive one of his D8 14's helping build the pad for the meuseum he was building in Two Rock. Miss him very much, many thanks tro his brother Pat, for carrying on the traditions Glenn had established! Bigger than life, the truck parade in downtown Petaluma after his funeral was awesome, even in the downpouir that was happening that day!!!
