Hey OM:
Just noticed on the CalTech Recenr Earthquake Site you folks had a 3,4 3 Miles ENE from your place. I hope it didn't tip over any tractors (or your coffee). As far as I.m concerned that's too close (even for a small one).

Hi Daron,
Yes, a pretty good "thump" but nothing but nerves affected. Takes at least a 4.0 or better to really rattle things. Our gauge is 4.2 will slosh the water out of the commodes. LOL

Alaska gets an average of 40,000+ earthquakes a year. They (USGS) say it is better to have several smaller quakes to relive pressure than one big one.
