Greetings from sunny South Africa . Just purchased a late model tractor 5U16274 also has a 2nd tag below the serial tag TRANSMISSION GROUP NUMBER 4B3667.
and has BALDERSON BLADE.
I got it cheap from a late friends estate sale . Was modified to be a bump start tractor - pony has been removed . Now i need a sump or engine drain plug as this one is missing so
i can start and test the tractor .
Part no L-827 and gasket L-1124 my Cat dealer says no such no
Also help with the Roller Grease coupling 3F3915
Any help will be most welcome .

for most of the older part no if no number infront of the letter add a zero and if not 6 characters add a zero after the letter to make it six characters. i havent had a problem finding parts with the dealer. alltough they have told me a couple of the parts i have asked for are no longer available or have been superseded and have given the newer pn.
google is your friend when it come to finding parts. many parts are still used on other models so a google search can sometimes find them.if you can find the national stock numbers when it comes to bearing and seals you can find the parts too as cat didnt make thier own bearings or oil seals they bought standard items.
