Expecting 18+ of snow and 40 mph+ winds! This was "78" with 18" of snow.

I believe we had 60-80 mph winds then, some low lying roads were buried under ten feet of snow and drifts were up to fourteen feet high, everything was plastered white with snow. I was only nine years old then, my dad was only 47 in the one pic to the right. The D7 was only about nine years old too.

It sure was! remember riding with dad when we plowed out a road that was drifted across and the snow was as high as the cab! The K/G blade would just shear off a huge block of hard packed snow and push it like it was a big marsh mellow, lol, Big wheel loaders were useless due to two inches of ice on the roads before the snow came.

I noticed that one photo where the snow and ice was caked all over the windrow side. The only way imaginable to run a K/G and not have to sharpen it!
