Is there anybody out there that has this style of canopy on there 28 maybe also on a 25. I’m working on mine and I’m missing the top. I have all the brackets. Looking for some Dimensions. Thanks Matt 3097379444

it looks like it would have been curved angle iron. ask around the local engineering shops maybe someone can roll a couple of pieces for you

Everything from the legs up is the same as one of the Twenty Two canopies. The only thing that would have to be recast is the bracket at the top of the legs, the rest of the parts are fabricated pieces. I do have a few prints for the parts you are missing but not all of them. Or you could sell me the two 1B5858 sockets so I could complete the canopy I have.

mat I can remember a PL twenty that was nicely restored in the last 5 to 6 years ago for caterpillar corp or the heritage center that had a canopy with curved top like that . Id bet its on display somewhere if a guy knew whare .I think kent bates did the restoration but I could be wrong , It was in the magazine .
