Welcome Mike! There’s no guide as such, good idea though! First job when searching is just type the thing you're looking for such as D4, that will bring all the D4 manuals up. We've tried to categorise them so that for example a D4 2T has a D4400 engine but when Caterpillar produce the engine manual they don't mention what tractor it fits mainly because that same engine might have a power generation or marine application too. So the manual is titled D4400 but we've placed it in the D4 section to aid when searching. Its not perfect but its a work in progress.. Caterpillar produces parts catalogs, operator's instructions (which very often have maintenance info in) and service manuals for most things. So browse away, the back button is your friend if you get lost.. Any particular queries let me know and I’ll search too.To who ever might could answer my question. I think this library must be a big help. It could help with anything the manuals have in them. But I looked last night for some simple things that I already knew and wanted confirmation on. I have not learned how to navigate and find what I am looking for. Is there a guide to this library? I know I’m missing out. I’ve been a member for less than a month and I want full benefits if possible

"I also joined a year ago. had been on here a couple of times as a non-member and found the info very helpful so I got a one year subscription (not very expensive at all) to try it out. I really like all the resources on here so I just got a three year. I think its a very small price for what you can get out of this site."
