I have a good friend and fellow club member who is building a 1/50th scale Cat 60 based on the 1925 model.
Does anyone know what the thread on the track shoe bolts for those tractors is ?
My friend thinks that they are 9/16 NF threads, but he would really like to know for sure.

Any help much appreciated.

Sorry for the delay in replying and thank you for the information.

My friend is still at the stage of having castings made from the patterns he has created.
It will be a while before there are any pictures of the finished article.
I believe I can persuade him to write an article for the maqazine in due course.

Sounds like a fascinating project John, I hope he is taking plenty of pics of these early stages too, I really enjoy looking at youtube where people show how they make things like patterns, rough castings, then machine the parts, "myfordboy" over in the UK is a favorite who does great work.
All the best
Mike
