Greetings: In another post regarding a model D6 purchased, I had the pleasure of buying these nifty numbered prints from the Don Greytak collection.
Thanks to the worldly Bruce Petty, he told me the artist was from Montana. I looked up his website, and read up on his background and browsed other prints that were still available for purchase.
I did not see the two that I have as available.
My question is: What other Caterpillar prints did he create besides the one of the D6 pulling a field cultivator and the D2s pushing snow?
Does anyone else here collect these prints?
I really enjoy mine. The cost is minimal compared to the many waterfowl prints and medallions that I have acquired. Professional framing seems to be a large cost factor.
If someone wishes to let their prints go, please message me. TIA, JM

Ooh nice! Did you purchase those? Thank you for sharing Rome.
The D6 picture I had didn’t post, so here it is.
They are nice for any wall or display.
Maybe I should see if he would do a custom one for me!
Hmmmmm…..D4 with a #40 scraper would be a fun one for some of us. JM

Thanks for posting this juiceman, I didn't know about Don Greytak. I'm impressed with the detail of his art. I just purchased a print of the last one you posted
(the D2 pushing snow), I will hang it in my office for our grandkids to see when they read my "Bulldozer!" book that I bought on ACMOC.

You’re welcome Seiscat: Don G. must be a guarded secret, as I had never heard of him until I asked Bruce Petty. This artist has much more beyond Caterpillar stuff. I did see an IH TD 14 or 18 print his site had offered for sale.
I would love to see/know just what others he had created, whether available or not.
I will reach out and see if there is any chance of commissioning him to do a D4 7U along with the #40 scraper that several of us are having so much fun with.
I like numbered prints, but owning the originals are even more fun.
Anyone else out there have any of his prints? Please share if you do. TIA, JM
