It seems mostly there but really rough, u/c buried and a tracks off the idlers. There is one big ram directly over the engine with a bell crank thing that lifts the dozer blade.
Is there any reason to try and salvage this? Are there any particularly rare parts to be saved? Seems like the mag cover would be desirable. What about the hyd pump?
Any guess on the weight?
Depending on access it may be easiest to dismantle it on site, it does not seem particularly valuable as a whole tractor.

Carl:
I have seen this one before. The guy tried to tell me it was an early Best 30, go figure. With scrap prices where they are just cherry pick the good stuff, if any, and let it go.

Carl:
I meant to say that the top tank and the bottom tank are clearly Best and the rest is hard to say. Save the manifolds and I can't tell if there is a carb. The u/c looks pretty wasted. See if there are any Best tags, on the right hand side, highly unlikely for a top seat but it is possible. You know what the rest of the good stuff is.

Hey Tom-
It had not even occurred to me that it may be a Best, is there any other clues I should look for?
Besides the seat rotting all the way off (springs still there) it looks complete, mag, carb etc, just where they left it when the idler twisted out of the track frame. No parting out or vandalism. I'm sure it is probably stuck after so many years of neglect.
Are there any of the main case or engine parts that are hard to find? or is it pretty much just scrap?
Thanks
