I have a d2 and the clutch either slips so the dozer doesn't move or it can spin the tracks How do I fix this?

Main clutch adjustment should be covered in operators manual.

By "problems disengaging", do you mean it won't disengage at all, or will disengage with some difficulty? If the latter, what sort of difficulty? There's not a lot of difference between under and over adjusted - typically only one or two holes. If you went say 8 holes, then you overshot. Adjust it halfway back to where you were originally and see what you get. Also, if the adjustment is not the problem, then your pilot bearing could be seized.
