I don,t know just what plant they were from but could be at Peoria but no proof as the book just says USA. The 931s were made in Japan

Martyn,

As far as I know, all the 933 machines were made in Peoria, the 11A and 42A series machines imported into the UK were definitely USA production.

Thanks Catsilver
What confused me was that I saw somewhere that they were also produced at another US Cat plant.I think it was Aurora!
The machine is nearly ready for its long awaited repaint.Been taking it to local shows. The donkey start fault has been sorted but has developed a donkey to main engine clutch fault, won't engauge when lever pulled.

Hi Martyn,
You will probbaly find that the clutch needs adjustment, its accessed through the top cover and has a spring pin like a D2 main clutch, I hope that the 'fingers' and collar are not badly worn because that means taking the whole donkey engine out, it can be done but its a bit tight to remove.

I don't see any similarity between the D2 and 933g pony clutch adjustment:confused:
