Anybody know anything about Empire Motors from El Paso Tx.They are advertising in Vintage Truck magazine.They MFG. intake and exhaust manifolds for Cat ten -sixty and various other models.Thanks John

John, as far as I know, their product is good, perhaps excellent. If you order from them, it would be a good idea to inquire if they have what you want in inventory and can ship right away. Otherwise, you might have a long wait.

Yes they make manifolds for the 15. I was talking to someone yesterday and I heard rosewood was currently out of one of the 15 manifolds- not sure which part. Their website is www.rosewoodmachine.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc

Catmatt, I wrote about this a few short weeks ago and don't think it worth repeating. The ACMOC board assigned to one of its committees the task of reviewing the matter and making a recommendation on policy to the full board. That committee will be meeting in the next few days. Until they have delivered their recommendation to the board, I'm trying to stay out of it. I don't recall the name on the thread, but it is somewhere still on this site. GWH
