While at an auction a few weeks ago I ran across a dozer that had a maintainer blade welded to the bottom of a root rake. It got me thinking of it was possible while still econoicable to build a regrowth plow on to the front of a dozer that could take out mesquite instead of hiring an operator with a full blown root plow. Please don't hold back I love all opinions. Thanks.

Hi, Mattk.
Given time, money and effort, just about anything is possible. The biggest problem that I can see with what you propose is that the attack angle that you would need to get such a blade into the ground would want to keep pulling it deeper in as you travelled forward unless you could figure out some way of levelling the blade off once it is the ground. Twin tilt rams on the blade might be one answer. Tilt forward to penetrate and back to level off once in the ground.
Just a thought.
You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.
