Could somebody tell me what manuals I will need and the best place to find them, for a D2 5j1370.I got the thing over a year ago and need lots of help. Thanks for any help.

slurrydog. .Time to get to know your local Cat dealer. You can get the "Classic" manuals from them or go cheap and get the (shudder) Jen Sales manuals. I'd recommend getting 'em from Cat but they're not cheap. Jen Sales are cheaper but so is the quality.

You'll need an Operator's manual and a Serviceman's manual at the minimum. A Parts catalog is handy as well. Then an Engine Serviceman's book and you should be good to go. When you order 'em, give the serial number of your tractor so you get the correct ones.
