can someone define the various boarder designations?

They are just a quick way to see how often somebody posts on the forum. All the possible designations are below, and the names/thresholds/number of ranks may change in the future.

The boarder rankings are simply based on post count. Underneath those rankings, a user is either Registered or Member, depending on their current ACMOC membership status.

I'm sure there are a lot of bells and whistles that will make this board more user friendly but from an appearance perspective the pages appear more like my computer when I start it in "safe mode" than a bona fide web page.

Maybe I will get used to it.

Here goes, no preview so we will take pot lucik.

Boarder designations are based on how many posts a user has created. The breakdown of ranking thresholds is above. Below the boarder designation shows if a user has a current ACMOC membership, or is just a normal registered user. Guest users are people that are not logged in or haven't created an account yet, and aren't able to post but can still view the forum

It is hard to believe they paid $30k for this... The old site had a custom feel to it, the new site wastes so much screen space, just like every other canned website out there these days. Oh well.

Sorry, but I would rather have the old board back. This new board is like buying a new tractor or pickup to replace your ten year old tractor and it has less features than your your old one but you paid a lot more.
