Where can I find information on how to repair steering clutch. I have search the net for service manuals but am not sure which one of these books I need, I really don't want to buy all the books to start with.

I got this unit after it had been setting for 15 years. It had a over heating issue when it was parked, they had replaced the radiator and water pump but it steal was overheating on them. After playing around with it I found the issue. no gasket in the radiator cap. Now if I can just get it to turn right, without backing up. The old girl is itching to turn some dirt.

Steering clutch service/repair is the same as the D4 tractor once you get access.

Can I find service info on a D4 online our do I need to order the books?

for reparing the stering cluch you need to take off the fuel tank and the big housing cover and removed the 2 stering cluch with the bevel gear.

Working on the steering clutches is not a problem, plenty of discussion, websites with pictures and I can post set up procedures from the D4 service manual.

Problem is there does not appear to be a service manual dedicated to the 955 loader.....you have to use a combination of the loader parts manual and D4 service and parts manual and there is a lot left out.....like how to get access to the clutches without removing the loader frame etc.
An old post said it could be done by removing everything off the deck and slipping the cover out from underneath the frame but I have never seen it done nor do I know if it can be done that way for sure.
