Can any body tell me what the differance is between the 2 carbs listed for a cat 10 both are ENSIGN Bet1 and the other is Betb[r] ? They both also cover 1929 to 1931 did they use different fuels?

I think they could be the same. The Cat gas tractor guide refers to the carb as a "BET-1" and as a "BET-R-1". I'm told the "1" stands for one inch. Not positive though.

I have run into 2 different carbs for the cat 10. They both look very similar but if you take them apart the cylinder that is housed in between the top and the body is a different length, and cannot be interchanged. I am not positive, but I think the jets are the same. Wally
