CFL Oil was created by ronm
SJ or Old Magnet, or anybody know about this stuff? I came up w/a couple gallons of it, in Lubriplate jugs. CFL Oil, LO859-057. Lubriplate's website has nothing on it, in the MSDS section or anywhere else. A friend who works for Cat says they use it to flush engines that have had antifreeze in the oil. I need to flush a combine engine, but would like to know a little more about it beforehand???
Just found "ask an expert" on Lubriplate site, I'l post the answer if I get one...thanks.

Hi ronm,
I believe that is a regular engine flushing oil.....nothing special and probably obsolete.

Thanks Bruce, you got more info than I did. actually, it's a John Deere combine engine that needs the flush. I've seen this stuff used a few times, & it does a super job, esp. glycol anti-freeze. I just wanted a little more info about it...
thanks-
Ron in CO...
