Just acquired a beast, it is a 398 serial # is 66B 6498. The arrangement # is almost unreadable but what I can make out is 9 11 7?
Who out there can tell me the year it was made? Only thing I was told is, it is about 900 HP.
It is air start and came with the air compressor and tanks and radiator. Also has a small generator that is belt driven off the front of the crankshaft. It is a hefty thing and will need to get some #s off it to see how big it is. This unit has a hydraulic clutch that runs a 25 groove pulley that I am not aware of what is was driving.

Like three D339 D7E engines in one block.

Heres a sweet pump for the basement, yea I know, a little overkill.

That is where it will show up and live. Lots of work to be done before that. I am now looking for a gravity box or anhydrous undercarriage to put under neath it.
