Does anyone know where to find parts for D4400 injectors? The part# on my injectors is 2A5210. I'm looking for the valve and the orifice plates in the bottom of the injectors. Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Dean

My fuel injection service manual shows five different fuel injectors for the 4-1/4 bore engine (D4400) but your number is not one of them. What is the actual application and is it the clamp down or threaded nut retainer style?
At one time the spray valve assembly and disc were available as a service group (once unit is identified). Individual parts might be hard to come by....haven't tried. Might try Cat or an old time fuel injection shop.

OM,
The application is a 1940 112 Grader, serial #2M609 with the clamp-down style injector. I looked on an old Caterpillar parts microfieshe and I thought the part# for the injector was 2A5210 but I definately could be wrong. If you have any additional info I would appreciate it. Thanks, Dean

Yours could just be a case of earlier version.
I show two unit part numbers for clamp down styles for the 4-1/4 bore.
2A4850 and 6B2845 valve assemblies.
Both use the 6B914 valve service group.
I do not have part numbers for individual service group parts.
Attached pic of what you would get with the valve service group....don't know where they may be obtained from but at least you'd be shopping for the right parts:)

OM,
Thanks for the info!! My valve groups don't have that fancy little dowel pin that indexes the valve to the orifice plate but I assume this would be a direct replacement. Thanks, Dean

Yes, I believe they would interchange.
In spite of the warning I have heard of the discs being lapped and needles redone. Just need the proper equipment to do so. No recovery for a worn bore that I know of.

Its a pretty small world as the parts catalog that I just received in the mail from ebay is marked inside with the original owners serial number 2M578, which is very close to yours. My 112 is 2M487SP, just thought that I would let you know that.
