Hi, Dancat.
There are a couple of ways of doing this. One is to put brackets on the back top of the blade to carry a tree pusher that attaches to the blade only - see the Cat D5N. This style does not have to be a single spar as in this photo. It can also be a 'V' shape with two anchor points on the back of the blade, like the Fiat 130CI, instead of one main one.

Another style that works is shown on the D6D and the Case 1150. The Case 1150 version actually has a small post on top of the blade in the center that carries the tree pusher by its center cross brace while the D6D version just allows the high corner of the blade to carry the load when the blade is tilted.

Hope these help.

You have a wonderful day. Best wishes. Deas Plant.

Replied by dancat on topic tree pusher for d7e
thanks for the pics, my 7e has got the semi u blade with a rise on the top in the middle, kinda makes it harder to design the pusher around.
