Can anyone tell me what year these 2 D6's are?

D6 9U3601
D6 9U13420

Would their parts be comaptible with each other?

Thanks,

D7Doug

The major upgrade would be the oil clutch on the later model. If you are going to use the tractor much, it would be the best to build the oil clutch into it if possible. It is possible to use the dry clutches just fine, but the oil clutches are a lot longer lasting design. All components from the back of the engine block to and including the transmission input shaft are different between the two designs.

D2-5J's, D6-9U's, D318 and D333 power units, 12E-99E grader, 922B & 944A wheel loaders, D330C generator set, DW20 water tanker and a bunch of Jersey cows to take care of in my spare time:D
