The Caterpillar collecting family has lost one of their own. Rocky Valorosi of Madera, California past away this last Friday from a sudden illness. His family's farming operation started using Caterpillars back when the "new higher horsepower" model Twenty-Eight was intoduced in the 1930's. They continued to farm with crawlers until his passing. He prided himself with the achievement that he was able to collect most models Caterpillar built from 1923 through 1955. He always made time to show old-iron enthusiasts around his collection. His favorite reading was always the ACMOC magazine. He leaves behind his wife of 51 years- Marcia, two sons -Ray and Bill , and a daughter Jennifer.
