Spun bearing damage to the block is either terminal or requires line boring and oversize bearing shells.

Changing bearings caps is a risky business without line boring to make sure things are aligned.

Regardless of any oil-fuel lubrication to any part of the Crank it is the mass weight of the components that will always tear out the main bearings first with lots of Diesel in the sump, after around 10% by volume of fuel mixing with the E/oil expect big problems, the crank is heavy so are the rods, add the Flywheel and clutch/torque to the list and you have your answer. tctractors
