I made a side-trip to Southwest New York state to see Ron Meeder and the High-Wide Fifteen that he owns. He took me out to his storage yard to show me a CAT TEN that he bought. This has a unique story in that the fellows who owned it couldn't afford to buy a real tractor.
Needless to say this conversion is a "Work of Art"!
These guys thought this out very carefully in that they took the Brake Cables off from the Truck that they were robbing for parts to ingeneously hook them to the TEN's brake pedals and bring them up into the transmission case to attach them to the hand clutches from which they had removed the levers.
Now by stepping a little ways on the left or right pedal would disengage that clutch, by stepping further you would then actuate the brake which is similar to the small John Deere crawlers. The steering box and front axle came from the same truck. With a "locked" rear axle they could then use this to pull a plow to prepare their land. The steering box and front axle came from the same truck.

Yeah, I saw that when I was at his place in the summer of '06. Whom ever did this conversion did a real good job.
