I found this old ripper on the side of the road and was wondering if anyone could tell exactly what it is ....make,model or what ever.

I think it may be a laplante Choate, not sure though. We used one behind our D7 just like it a few years ago.

Thanks...It was located near the Buford Dam at Lake Lanier here in North Georgia. I assume it was used during comstruction on the dam in the 1950's

Cysco,
I believe that that is an Isaacson ripper and would have been originally supplied for an International Harvester tractor, probably a TD-18 or TD-24:D

The Le Tourneau rooters never had those half fenders.
Only Isaacson & Wooldridge.
I'm pretty sure that that particular unit is an Isaacson.
