We have an auction scheduled for Saturday afternoon @ 3:30 at the BSOT and we will be selling some Cats, parts, literature and misc stuff. Richie Bros. will do the auction for us as part of their donation (they also painted the raffle tractor free of charge). Anyway, Brooks has started the tradition that Cat guys who come to their show and show their tractors or attend bring a desirable part (mag, carb, belt pulley, pto, lights, spark plug cover, tractor, good toy, etc) as a donation to the auction. We would like to do the same thing so throw something extra on the truck or in the suit case and please help us with a donation. I know that our idea is just catching on but already ACMOC director Glen has donated a running 22, a RD4 that the Tuesday night gang has been working on and a parts 22, I will throw in a wide D4 orchard and some parts and Willie will throw some good parts in.
If you live near the show and would like to consign tractors, we will be able to sell those tractors, plows and implements of all kinds for you (no junk please). We are working on our consignment schedule but it will be reasonable. I know the ACMOC trailer will be one of the feature pieces to be sold on Saturday afternoon.
If we can help secure donations let us know. The Heidrick Ag History Center is a non-profit and donations are tax deductable.

Tom is correct. The board of directors decided that we are not getting value out of the club's trailer, and have decided to sell it at the auction at Woodland. Many of you have seen the very attractive trailer with beautiful Caterpillar Hi-Way Yellow paint and large club logo. We can not justify the depreciation on the trailer for the small use we have gotten out of it. We hope some club member will have a real need for a trailer and buy it.

I am finaly crawling out from a lot of my BSOT duties (they are done) and can now focus a bit on the auction. Since my first post we have picked up a few more tractors as follows:
Cat 30 orchard fresh out of a barn where it has been for many years, complete with ridge busters, loose and will run.
Cat 10 fresh out of the same barn and stuck but complete.
Cat 40 out of the same barn really nice, runs well and exceptionally straight.
Cat R4 with blade and cable control for the scraper (scraper not included), not sure of condition but will have it there early next week.
Cat 22, rough but complete.
We hope to have pictures on the website for those of you who will not be able to attend.
Again, if you are coming, please bring a choice part or piece of literature to donate for this saturday afternoon auction or if it something really special we may choose to auction it off on Saturday night at the dinner.
If you have anyone who lives close by, tractors can be consigned or donated to the Heidrick Ag History Center. Your donations are tax deductable.
Remember to come and place your bid for the ACMOC trailer that will be sold Saturday afternoon.
Tom

The 40 in the prior post is actually a Diesel 40.
Today we picked up a standard gauge Gas 40 and a Best 60. I don't know a lot other than they are both restored. We will also have a restored D4 pedal tractor in the auction.
It looks like we will have a really straight JD D and a JD G in the auction as well.
More coming in daily.
