Well after a long nap, this D-6 came back to life this last weekend. It will be one of a group of featured tractors from the Wade Brothers collection that will be the feature at Rock River Thresheree in Edgerton Wi Labor Day Weekend. This machine is very tight, not a lot of wear on it. It spent its life running a saw mill and plowing on the Wade farms. Besides the 6 they have three D-4s, a D-2 and a 66 grader. That along with several Oil Pulls, a big Minne gas tractor, and several steam engines(12 will be coming to the show).
The other picture while not Cat related is of my old Oshkosh dump truck being moved to have some work done on it. Last time it was on a low boy Cat-Iron hauled it home for me. ACMOC reference here there ar at least two if not three Chapter 4 members are in the picture.

That is a good looking D69U. As for the Oshkosh truck, that is the vintage Oshkosh I'd love to have. When I was a kid living in the snowbelt of Western New York, all the townships and counties used Oshkosh as their snow plow trucks. Very powerful. Of course, nowdays, they all use the standard 10 wheeler dump trucks that are much bigger, heavier, and probably more powerful. The Oshkosh was not good on fuel, and that is an important consideration now. GWH
