Here are some pictures and a video of me playing in the snow with my new D2 5J. It was kind of SOB to get the cat started and then the hydraulics were frozen but once I got everything moving it ran great. It was pushing up to 2 feet of fresh snow with no problems.

Cableguy103,

Nice pictures and video, sounds like a good running machine. Just curious with the back ground in
some of the shots where you are located? Thanks.

The property is located in Eastern Oregon up in the mountains.

Frozen Hydraulics? Must be some moisture in the hydraulic oil. After it warms up to above freezing and I has set for a few days you may be able to bleed the water off by cracking the drain as it will settle to the bottom of the tank. Not sure how easy it is to get to the drain on that one.

Looks like you had some fun, I really wish it would snow here so that I can do the same thing and push some snow with my D2.

Cheers
Nate

I am thinking about just replacing all the hydraulic oil. It was empty when I got and who knows what was in it before.

The property is located up out of Tollgate kind of by Walla Walla Washington.

Here is antoher video of plowing out by the road of our place.
