I have an RD4 SN: 4G4587 that had one of the lifters for the fuel pump break in half. I was wondering if anyone could help me with a part number or any place that I could get one. The part numbers i have for the Pump housing is 2a3310 and the Cam is 2a3869 if that helps. I have tried looking on the forums and online with no luck. Thanks

Bill Walter on this forum should be able to fix you up.

Any idea what the cause was? Concerned that if you fit another in there, it might break if there's still a vulnerability.

Not sure, It had a crack from the top going down the threads, so maybe somewhere along the way it was over-tightened and slowly broke. It was running good the other day, then the next I had hardly any power so thought maybe a plunger was stuck; but when I was checking them this one was free to move by hand. It did have a broken piece that looked like it was smashed down but not sure how that could happen in the housing the spring was fine and scarring or cuts in the housing. I can only guess wear from over time. This was only the second day it had been started in the last few years from when I got it though.

Part number is 2A5578. Same lifter used in all the forged body pumps. Should not be a problem to find. Is kind of rare to break one.

I figured it was a rare thing, I couldn't find anyone else with the same problem on here. I guess I was kind of blind in not finding the Part number. I looked through here for hours and read the post you had for this part number at least twice but it just didn't click that that was what I was looking for. Anyway, I very much appreciate it.
