I picked up new ones from CAT for around $10/each. My local dealer (Western States in Spokane), had them in stock.

The last Cat valves I saw were miniature hex body ball valves that didn't look right at all. The McMaster ones are about $6.00 ea.

Some of these carbs get so badly crudded up that to really clean them, you have to drill the lead plugs out to get in there. They can be resealed with a good epoxy. I wish you the best of luck with it.
Mine only likes to run wide open, and is unresponsive to changes in the throttle setting, which leads me to think the pony governor has issues. I'll get around to it someday.
It's always something....
