Vern, I would look for something like a little Eversman scraper in the 2 to 2 1/2 yard range. I have a Cat 40 scraper that I believe is 4.5 yards with a 6' blade width and it makes the D47U scratch pretty good to load it. There are other small scapers out there but Eversman is a pretty common one around here. They sold a little 1 1/2 yard model at a farm auction here a couple months back and it brought $1200. Some require dual hydraulic controls and others require only a single hydraulic control. Best of luck finding a good one.
