Hi Team, My 2 Ton Cat has used up all the adjustment on the lefthand brake band and I just noticed a second hole drilled into the sliding shaft that activates the brake band. Is that there to allow for a "second stage" of adjustment on the band using the screw adjuster, and if so how does someone with hands the size of a 2 gallon bucket get in there to move the pin from the brake band into the "spare" hole?
Is it a big job to remove those brake bands for re-lining, like are we talking splitting tracks and removing final drives:eek: ?
