Any cable control experts out there?

What unit do I want on a 10K D6? 126? I hear something about two different gear ratios to get correct speed on a 6 versus 7 or 8.

My tractor has a Rhome ROPS, does that require different spacers and couplers. Are couplers available if I find a unit without it?

All help appreciated

Front single drum cable is a Model #116/117 serial #73F-up
Rear double drum is a Model #125/126 serial #32E-up
Good chance either one will interfere with the rops if running front cable to the rear or clearance for the rear unit.
Sorry I don't have any literature that would help answer your questions.
Couplings would be available but you may be on your own for spacers and shaft extensions.

What model scraper are you looking to use????
The basic double drum rear winch hasn't changed in decades.
Just a matter of fit up to the tractor. Also may be hard to find, hardly ever see them on later model tractors.

I got a old LeTourneau G that has seen little use, it will have to do for now. Maybe a Cat or LaPlant Choate later on. I know one guy who always has a lead or two on good pans and he has a 126 CCU he will sell.

Thanks for your help.
