well guys with my new "real job", i get to run buddy barry's 650G john deeres and i hate them. i had 2 hours on the seat of a 650G and i told buddy barry that i'll run my d6 9u known as THE HOOD any day over that toy.
buddy barry bought 2 650Gs in the USA with the winch and 6 way blades. i call them the "Lemon Sisters" because they are always in the shop with little "girlie" problems.(you can't take a cat from the hot south and land it in the freezing cold, there will be a problem)
all i had to do the other day was clean out a drill pads and fix up the road( THE HOOD made the road during freeze up) after 2 hours of bouncing in the seat and making a moto-cross track in the muskeg, i gave up. i plugged the block heater in on THE HOOD and the next day, he was up and running. with a solid c-frame THE HOOD showed no mercy to the snow banks and got rid of the moto-cross tracks that the 650G made. plus pulled a drag which is like dragging a farm plow thing (ok i live in the Great White North, farm thing is close enough, LOL). i like to run in 4th gear and peddle to the metal. when the THE HOOD gets in the low RPMs, the black smokes is excellent. remember it is a 12 foot blade you are pushing plus pulling a 9 foot wide drag. a lot of snow is being moved. if i have to go in to 3rd gear, it is not good but if i end up in 2nd gear, i'm ready to blow a gasket.
the D6 9U is the best cat ever built in my eyes, little hard to work on but beer always makes things easier. the 650G is a landscaping cat that would work nice in the south.
thansk

Keep the pictures coming. I count on your pictures and cold to get me over the mud.
Have you run over trees or what is the trash on the drag?
Is this a good or bad ICE year?
