Im looking at a cat 2 ton to buy and no nothing about them and need to know what to look for. There is a tag on the motor m35 and below that is motor number 81346. Is there anyone that could tell me a little more? What does the carb look like? Thanks mike

I have motor M35 81354 on Holt 70335. There was a feature story in the ACMOC issue 54, March/April 2004. "The Story Of Holt's 2 Ton" submitted by Lorry Dunning, Historical consultant, Davis California.

Its like Swishy siz;

There R 2 types of people in this land,
Ones that own a 2 TON
n ones that wish they had a 2 TON.

Mike, if you search my posts you will find pictures of both the Kingston L-3 and Zenith T5T carbs. The Kingston is what was used on the Holt machines. The T5T on Cat machines after serial #70438. The very early Holt machines used the Kingston L-2. Hope this helps. Dave
