Do you have any idea why the young gentleman in the photo might have such a bewildered look on his face?

I do think though that I can foresee some issues with that design, not the least of which might be some moderately serious panel damage in the event that somebody should misguidedly attempt a 360-degree slew.

AHA! I think I have figured out what is going on. Look at the other track in the "rear" of the photo. My guess is that the mounting of the drive part of the track suffered a massive break and rolled up like that. In the right center of the photo it looks like a whole bunch of torn steel.

What do you others think?

I can see some advantages with this prototype. Did you help with Design? What model designation are you giving it? Are you thinking about converting both sides?
