I found a D4 for scrap value, which might be all its worth. 7U 32,013 with 4A blade & 44 hyd sys. No winch, It would need rails,sprockets, P&B, engine unsticking at minimum. Please what is the best esimate on weight and year model? Thanks,:confused:

May be some good parts there.....1955 model....will have the later hp balancer engine, and provision for direct electric start.

The later D4's sr # 7U26583 -up were slightly increased draw bar horse power from 43 to 48. This was done by raising the full load rpm and a balancer was added to cope with vibration closer to critical speed. Easy to spot if you look at the front of the oil pan you can see the rounded bulge to the left of the crankshaft where the balancer lives.
