I would like to know how to release the track tension, or contract the idler back towards the carrier rollers and then restore the tension back, cat had been sitting for a long time, have an idea what to do but just a little unsure cause everything seems ceased up.

Here are the adjustment instructions.
Wrench flats are 2-1/16 in.
Make sure the nut(housing) for the adjuster screw threads are lubed.
If it's been sitting for a really long time the idler bearing blocks may be stuck to the track frame as well as the adjuster screw frozen.
