Jim Zimmerman is trying to determine if anybody can deduce if this transmission is from a Clark Forklift from the 1940's. Please call Jim if you have any information. The Midgi picture might be available for sale. You can reach Jim at 641-982-4207

Greg, how are you doing? It always amazes me how much stuff Jim has laying around.

Hey Chad!....What's up?
I spent six hours at Jim's Saturday (a rarity to have that amount of time at his place). Jim is definately in a quandry regarding the transmission/differential on that Midgi I posted. I was actually shocked that there was less equipment there than in 2005 which equated to less stupidity ($$ spent) on my behalf from this trip.

Greg,
Did you see anything that you just could live your life with out? I have tried mutiple sources to identify what the trans/diff and final drive assembly is out of the Midgi at Jim's. My Midgi has the one piece cast iron housing. This one of Jim's is a fabricated assebly. What does your Midgi have? I have even offered the parts out of mine to use as a pattern to re-make his.

Chad,
Jim and I agreed on at least one thing I needed to have in his barn but need to close on price. I piled up a few parts also....When you get to walk around for hours, you can get the "I-wants" quite easily.
My Midgi has the cast the case, not the fabricated housing.
Jim claimed somebody swore they knew what the case and tranny was from but would no tell, only they would buy that Midgi which I believe Jim would sell for the right price.
