HI!! A GL1 for a G800 Cat single cylinder power conrol grader engine and a GL2 for early diesel starting engines done and ready to go. The reason I do not do usually work on mags for other people is it took about 6 months for me to get through these two.
If anyone has one of these mags as a core I would like to replace these two in my collection. I traded these two for some L/PL Twenty parts that I have been looking for, for a long time.

i see that ur missing the shut off switch handle, i have part of mine, i made the rest of mine out vacuum hose. nice job.

note the 5 minute mark of the video, i can help u with what i have, the tang and acorn nut are nickel plated brass.

Nope and I think that one will live in it's Caterillar parts box for a long time. I have 4 NOS regular points caps right now but I think I am going to need all of them for my projects.
