The hydraulic pump on The Nudist D4 has a bad oil leak. I'm assuming it's the shaft seal as the oil is pouring out the pump shaft hole on the engine side of the radiator.
Does the pump have to come apart? Is it an off-the-shelf seal?
Does anyone have any info that will help with this repair?
On this subject, how can I find the designation of my system? The tank and valve are one unit on the fender..
Thanks

Also, does this system have a filter? If so, where is it and how to I find a replacement? If not, are there any recommendations for a compact, effective in-line filter?
Thanks

The guy who can help you is Mike in Minden Nev. (NevadaKid) he has redone his and Busted on here or over on ACME will probably send you a CD for a slight fee that he did of my book.
On top rear of tank youll see round cap with return from control valve coming in the side , inside of that is a screen that is the filter system, heres the pump breakdown

Well I finally got the pump off, whew that took me a while! Anyway, the bearings, bushings and shaft all look great, no scoring or wear. The seal just died of old age, hard and cracked.
I called Associated Tractor and they are shipping a new one today, $9 !!!
Thanks for the help-

Well got my seals today and they are not even close. Just some big (2" ID) Timken regular-style seals. I am waiting for a return call. Any ideas on how to steer them in the right direction? The parts diagram shows a seal 'group' consisting of 4 parts, (LPC #26236) but all I really need is the rubber part.
