Hi Jeff. I didn't realize that the motor was more powerful because of a bigger bore. The engine looks much like a 60 engine. What do I know? People kid me about not being too knowledgeable about Cats. I agree I'm not a mechanic, and whatever I know about Cats I've picked up through my club membership.
Here in Denver, we have about a foot of snow on the ground. It has been colder than usual for this time of year, and we are having snow this afternoon. The last few days have been mostly overcast. I was out on Interstate 70 late this morning, and the surface was wet because of the salt spread. The far left passing lane was slushy because it had not been plowed. Not really bad, but you get these jerks in their 4-wheel drive vehicles who think the laws of physics don't apply to them. Most folks were driving slower than the norm, and I'm happy about that.
The national news carried an item about two murders in Arvada a couple of days ago. It was news to me. Actually, it was only about 3 miles from me at a large mega church located on a corner of two main highways in Arvada. There was a murder in the same neighborhood at a Burger King restaurant last year. But murders are otherwise rare here in Arvada. Now Denver is a different kettle of fish.
I plan to go out to Jim Zimmerman's soon to visit my diesel-conversion 60, take photos, etc. How far from Interstate 80 are you?
